Pokemon is a media franchise owned by Nintendo. Pokemon was created by Satoshi Tajiri, a japanese game designer. According to my knowlege, him and his friend Ken Sugmori created pokemon together. Ken Sugmori is the Illustrator of pokemon, maybe you've seen his name at the bottom of a pokemon card.

Now, more specifically, Pokemon are creatures with powers and attributes, each species is spectacular and unique. Each has something that sets them apart from another that makes up the World of Pokemon. People and pokemon can come togehter as a team. People capture Pokemon with Pokeballs, tiny orbs that can seal pokemon inside when they are tired, beat up, or they can be captured on purpose to offically be that person's owner. Pokemon Trainer capture pokemon for battle, and try to become a Pokemon Master. Pokemon Breeders try to take care of pokemon like pets, and try to learn all there is to know about pokemon. Pokemon Coordinators use pokemon for Contests, which in pokemon terms are competitions to show off a certain quallity of a pokemon, such as it's beauty, coolness, smartness, etc. Pokemon Rangers are like park rangers, they use pokemon to keep the enviornment and wild life safe. If a pokemon ranger needs a pokemon they don't really want, they use a device called a Capture Stylus, which temporarally captures a pokemon for the uses of the ranger.

The Pokemon franchise has Cards, Video Games, and a T.V. series, which also promotes DVD and CD releases.

There are currently 493 Different species of Pokemon. Most Pokemon are commonly found somewhere. Currently there are 4 regions of the pokemon world: Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh, each in order from first genneration to last. Although, there is a Region or two that doesn't really serve any purpose to lead pokemon story, Orre and Fiore. The Orre region gave us the Shadow Pokemon, Pokemon who's heart have been tainted with evil. The Fiore Region gave us the Pokemon Ranger stories. Each Pokemon has a Type or special attribute that they use: Bug-type, Dark-type, Dragon-type, Electric-type, Fighting-type, Fire-type, Flying-type, Ghost-type, Ground-type, Grass-type, Ice-type, Poison-type, Psychic-type, Rock-type, Steel-type, Water-type and Normal-type. Although, some pokemon are dual types meaning they have 2 Types. All they types can be matched up together, except Normal. Normal Pokemon specifically don't belong to other types, but are normal. Normal Pokemon don't have a element, but use physical everyday abilities. Pokemon also breed of corse, but they dot have to be the same species. It just depends on the pokemon. Now for what I think is the coolest part about Pokemon, EVOLUTION!!!! When a pokemon reachen a certain amount of power they evolve or transform into a mature form. Pokemon can evolve 2 times max, not all Pokemon have 3 forms, heck not all pokeon can evolve! The uncommon ones like Eevee (the pokemon with the most posible forms) have to evolve through items, certain times, and certain places.

Bug Moves

Attack Order- A swarm of bugs with a high critical hit ratio. 90% dmg.

Bug Bite- The bite of a bug that steals a berry item. 60% dmg.

Bug Buzz- A loud sound that lowers defense. 90% dmg.
